* Getting into some real running lately, as I was able to hit 175HR on my run this morning chasing down Rudy on the trails. Definitely gaining fitness daily, and definitely pushed myself the last couple of days. Tomorrow is more of the same, but there will be no Rudy to chase, so I will just have to monitor my HR. Should be getting interesting...

* Out of control... Thursday's run was absolutely brutal and absolutely what I needed... the initial 40' at 155-160 put me in trouble right off the bat, as my legs were struggling with the pace, especially some hammy tightness and weak calves. However, once I got rolling at 170+ for the next 20', I felt great and powerful until the wheels fell off 9' into the run... a quick stretch, I kept it going really well to the finish and wrapped up the workout. What a day! I expect to be completely useless tomorrow. Only time will tell.

* Had nothing today, which was expected, and quads were the most sore... ended up with a pretty sore inner quad today due to the pick-ups, but massaged them out and hopefully will improve with Sunday's rest.
