10 mile progression on Noland Trail in 1:02:29
* I was expecting to feel quite crappy and wasteful on this run, but the trail was beautiful. Soft sand, nice undulations, a bit humid, but I started out very easy, just feeling my body on the 5M trail. Some nice bridge crossings, I was working well and if feeling good I really wanted to hammer the second loop after feeling out the first. Well, I started going very well to finish up and then spent the day with the family at Colonial Williamsburg.

3 miles steady, 10-9-8-7-6' fast w/ 3' recovery at Long Reach Park
* Grass, spikes. Started off at 5:33 pace, worked down to 5:20 pace by the finish. Absolutely great workout in 78-degrees of pure sunlight. Got burnt. Worked hard. Perfect form. The 7' rep was the best, so smooth, so strong. 40' of very hard running. Nailed a Canova workout. Great confidence booster, but I need multiple workouts like this one to be great.
