* Alright, some pretty tough training in some pretty tough conditions. The weather has been atrocious, ridiculously hot and humid. Plus, I have been working quite hard and not getting much sleep at home. Will look to cap off a very intense end of week that I am not sure that I will be able to complete, but I will try. At least I have Rudy along for the ride...

* Well, postponed my major workout to next week, as I blew my opportunity at a solid workout, rolling through an opening mile in the 5K cap workout in 4:57, but I was impressed and pleased with that effort. Will see what I can make of the Sunday long run...
* Solid work on my long run this morning. I got out there with Rudy and Brett and we rolled around for 50-odd minutes until I set off on my own for the final 11+ miles home at a hard, steady pace. It was rough at first, with my right quad and hamstring getting tight, but finally I got rolling after the 90-minute mark. My final mile was a solid 5:41, which is great. Good stuff..
