10km steady down to the Rail Trail in 46:21 + 5 x 100m uphill
* avg. 7:21/mi... once again, not feeling it, but got out there in the cold. Hammered the best I could still having some issues. Decided to hit Pump Station and glad I did... I think it woke up my muscle fibers. Pace was surprisingly strong.

5M+ Trail Tempo around Lake Williams in 34:05 + 4 x 1000m up/down S. George St.
* avg. 6:39/mi... 3:23, 3:05, 3:23, 3:06 (rec. 2:00)... damn! 2nd fastest all-time Lake Williams Reverse (33:39) in some snowy and iffy conditions. Really rolled and then laced up and hit the road for some 1k's up/down. During the tempo, noted I got really tired at 15 min in or less, like over-exerted, but by 25-min had settled and was running well. On the 1k's was strong as hell, just some left hip flexor issues and tightness, but I got through it. Great work playing hookie.

10km regeneration down to the Rail Trail in 46:18

14km steady down to the Rail Trail and then around Seven Valleys in 52:31
* avg. 7:15/mi.. once again, surprising. Just not feeling great. Didn't get much sleep last night and it showed. Mentally wasn't ready to run my 8M loop / 1hr and bailed, which sucks. Oh well, finished up strong, but right quad tightened. Need to keep working. Bought a 2015 BMW 428i xDrive Gran Coupe Sport line today for $35K and then did strength.

11 miles steady down to Lake Williams with 962ft of gain in 1:19:18
* avg. 7:26/mi...really great feelings. I felt light, although not much energy, but knocked it out. I was really, really surprised at my pace, which was awesome. Just a great day and didn't notice any wear and tear other than I have to strengthen my right hamstring. I think that's the final key. Ready for tomorrow.

16 mile long run with Ian at Oregon Ridge with 2,135ft of gain in 2:08:32
* avg. 8:06/mi... awesome. 15-degrees, freezing, but we got going and was really concerned with my right calf, but it was hurt from driving, not running, so it never bothered me. Once my form got sloppy then I started feeling aches and pains, but fixed up my form and finished up really well. Still need to zone out in order to run longer (towards 20 mi, 3hrs), but this is progress. Really happy.
