* A bit of a bummer... we had to fly in my mother-in-law as an emergency childcare stop-gap until we get our paperwork in order for our younger two daughters to start up Preschool/Daycare on Sept. 13th since Perla got a job offer at the final hour (what a blessing). So, that meant sacrificing the Virginia Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon on Labor Day Weekend. I figure I am anywhere between 1:10-1:12 fitness level, but it would have been nice to find out. My long runs and 6 x 1M workouts have gone well, but I've only been managing 50-80M/week for the past 12 weeks. Oh well. Hopefully I start up with Coach Nippert on Sunday/Monday, in my push to win JFK.
