* I am coming off my highest volume week in months (82M) and it was quite dense with work. Bravo is great at throwing tons of stimulus at you, having you run different paces each and every day. Basically, at this point, it's 80-min, workout/double, 80-min, workout/double, etc... I am surviving, and not only that, I am getting stronger. I have a feeling I am going to nail a nice 5K debut in Maryland in about a month...

* Very nice fartlek on Wednesday morning, as I ventured out to my old stomping grounds that I utilized in prep for XC season. 30' of hard running, all grass, all sub-5' pace efforts. I felt strong and in control, but the workout kicked my butt on the final minutes of the second 8' effort, but then I regained composure and managed to end up running quite strongly. Good day.

* Another awesome fartlek effort at Dad's Day Field... tremendously windy, 20mph winds, so I would have a fluid, powerful effort, and on the return, I would have to use all my upper-body strength to maintain speed and composure to battle wind on the return. It was great work, and I am gaining confidence in my fitness every day. Bravo had a great day in Poland, as his athletes went 2-5-14-23-33 in the World Cross Country Championships.
