9 miles steady on the Patapsco Trail in 59:16 with 844ft elevation gain
* 7:42, 7:03, 8:31, 7:30, 6:43, 6:44, 6:38, 7:29, 6:55 (avg. 7:17/mi)... this was a heck of a run. If you look  at the GAP, I dug to 4:36 mile pace on some of the steeper ascents. I absolutely killed this run full of energy and power. Absolutely great sensations. Great work.

* 18:00 warm-up, 10 min avg. 5:58/mi pace + 2 x 5 min avg. 6:08/6:20 mi pace + 5 x 1 min avg. 5:58/5:57/6:10/6:12/6:28 mi pace... 982ft elevation gain for the run... great workout, obviously, killed the 10 min and then was tough to run faster. Good conditions, 42-degrees, good footing.

7 mile recovery at Patapsco Lollipop Loop with 955ft of elevation gain in 59:38
* 8:54, 9:16, 7:29, 7:40, 8:21, 8:27, 7:55 (avg. 8:18/mi pace)... very concerned about my left calf after yesterday's treatment. It was 100% walking in and 0% walking out, but I knew there was no structural damage and that I had two great back-to-back days on it so it was just soreness. Ran really well. Wanted to beat the rain and run 2.5 hrs today, but would not have been smart, was tired.

19 miles steady around Patapsco (3 GR Loops) with 2,244ft elevation gain in 2:24:55
* 7:51, 7:24, 7:39, 8:35, 8:49, 8:04, 8:13, 8:06, 7:32, 7:21, 7:37, 7:02, 7:19, 7:12, 7:12, 8:09, 8:21, 8:50, 7:09 (avg. 8:01/mile)... damn good long run. Started out feeling horrible, no energy or power for the first full loop in 49:35. Then, after a GU and change of clothes, I rocked a 47:00 South loop. I knew the last loop was going to be tough, but I had to get it done, running about a 48-min last loop. I pretty much depleted by 2h20', but that was fine with me. Finished up well.
