AM: 3 miles easy around Ft. McHenry in 21:00
PM: 20 min easy, 2 x 1200m + 3 x 800m + 4 x 400m (rec. 400m)
* 3:46/3:46 + 2:22/2:23/2:25 + 68.59/68.35/66.65/64.57... was feeling miserable due to the drive, not much rest, a completely hectic day at work trying to get caught up and back in a routine, and add onto that a terrible attack of local pollen/allergies, I had no energy. My warm-up was hilarious, as I was uncoordinated, no power, but once I strapped on my spikes, I knew I had the power in my legs to run fast. Not sure what this all translates to, but only good things. I fell asleep on my 800's for some reason, but had those nailed. Quarters were money.

8 miles out to Patterson Park in 55:23
* Absolutely destroyed. Not sure I ran under 7:00/mile pace the whole way. Just pure recovery, putting one step in front of the other. Good news is that foot is fine, but had some other aches and pains from the effort last night. I did not sleep a minute all night recovering from that workout. Man..

WCU Open 5000m, 15:39.71
* 74, 2:28, 3:42, 4:55, 6:07, 8:45, 15:02... blah. Just stupid. I was driving around all-day, dead tired from being at the Penn Relays and then the race was delayed and storms moved in with 20+mph gusts of wind and rain. But that's not why I ran the time. My left leg just fatigued way too quickly after I made too ambitious a move to break away because we went out so slow. Some Kenyan wouldn't let me into Lane 1  and it caused me to waste too much energy. After six laps I was toast, but was strong enough to rally back and reclaim second place. Winner ran 15:22.

27 miles around Patapsco State Park in 3:15:00
* Damn... started out wanting to run between 42-48km and having 3hrs as a sort've cap. I would have been able to stop at 3hrs but got lost on some new trails I got exploring and it was like I was in the Bermuda Triangle, as I kept coming back to the same trail intersection. It was so weird. Must've done it three times before I figured it out. This was close to the 3h mark, so maybe I wasn't right in the head, as I only drank 8oz at 50min, 1:40, 2:30... only real issue was my right big toe was painful, which is not a good sign, but I didn't make it worse. Perhaps from wearing shoes too small the other day. Anyway, I really need to get to work, as I fatigued quite a bit by 90 min but was able to rally after 2h45' and was still hitting 4:05/km on the flats/road when I would hook up trails. Good day of work, but still worried about 4-5 hrs and beyond.
