8 miles steady out to Patterson Park at night in 53:13
6:28, 6:30, 6:19, 6:50, 7:01, 7:08, 6:33, 5:55 (avg. 6:36)
* Night run after Sales Meeting. Night was crisp and cold and wasn't properly dressed, but I was impressed at my dedication. Sales Meeting is once again a killer, but I had a 1-hr window of opportunity and nailed it. I am not a fan of nighttime running due to my poor vision, but now with life in the Mid-Atlantic, it will be more routine.

7 miles easy thru Rockburn Branch in 48:06
7:42, 7:06, 7:08, 7:12, 7:19, 6:52, 6:17 (avg. 7:04; last .9 in 5:36)
* Absolutely devastating. Last night's run triggered some severe allergies. I barely had enough energy to walk out the door and start the run and actually stopped 100m into the run but forced myself to get going. Glad I did, but I had stability issues throughout (right hip, left knee) and will need to get in a core workout today. 72-min tomorrow may not happen, as I had to get in bed by 8PM.

6 miles easy around Ft. McHenry in 40:36
6:47, 6:52, 6:41, 6:38, 6:48, 6:04 (avg. 6:41; last .46 in 2:46); HR 146/164
* Amazing how missing two consecutive days of training kills me. I was seeing such great gains from the past week/half of training, but Sales Meeting is a killer.. .am learning it is better to run quick 20-30 min runs to maintain fitness than cancel a whole day if I can hit my goal.

9.5 miles hilly up Landing thru Patapsco in 1:04:41
7:04, 6:37, 6:36, 6:30, 7:16, 7:56, 7:22, 6:19, 5:53 (avg. 6:49; last .90 in 5:17)
* Was a bit stoked after watching FHSAA State Meet on the Internet and headed out, perhaps running harder than I need to on this pretty hilly loop. Felt good running 6:30's and opened up well towards the finish. Will relax tomorrow.

11.5 miles hilly in Patapsco in 1:19:06
8:36, 8:39, 8:54, 8:10, 8:20, 7:31, 9:15, 8:46, 6:59, 7:40
* Obviously, those are Garmin splits. I kept the effort steady, so the 6:59 is probably the only legit split in the whole bunch. Decided on an out-and-back and hit the river in 40-min+ and made it back just under 80-min total, for a nice negative-split. Legs are a bit beat up, but probably because I have not rested at home, etc. Hip flexor is still present, but with icing and drills I need it to go away.
Total
42 Miles
