* So, I have approached my recovery from the H1N1 Flu more aggressively than in the past. I am in very good fitness and cannot afford to lose too much fitness because of this bug. The Tamiflu seems to be doing a very good job of controlling my fever, although I still spend the whole night sweating. My run today went in cycles, really lethargic, decent pace, and back again. Better than nothing and seem to be feeling stronger daily. We shall see...

* I don't know... I hope I am getting better. My muscles and stride today felt fluid, but once again, it's like my engine is revving buy my wheels are spinning. This viral infection is sapping every ounce of strength out of me. Anyway, tomorrow is my last day on Tamiflu and hopefully can accelerate training through the weekend. Looking back to 2004, I did not miss a run from Oct 1-Jan. 18th. Amazing consistency. Will try and replicate for ING Miami.

* Well, 48 Miles for the week with Swine Flu is not bad. It could have been worse. The best thing is that I have recognized a mental shift in that I need to really attack my long runs if I expect to be successful over the marathon distance. Working on that as we speak...
