* That's how I know I am getting fit... awoke to a rainstorm, thought I would attend Bison Open, bailed on that plan, so opted for just a 4 miler + weights and I absolutely cruised my run. Didn't feel like I took a breath or took a step.

24 miles steady thru the trails in Patapsco in 2:54:18
* Got in at midnight from NYC last night and in bed at 1AM, and with the wife opting to not pick up some GU's, I decided to wait until after breakfast to attempt my 3hr training run. The weather was beautiful and I was wear-testing a new textile in the form of a long-sleeve mock, so I got out to the trail at 11AM. Loaded with 4 Jet Blackberry gels and my Ultimate Direction hand-held, I started off comfortably, mostly focused and intent on running the full time allotted. I can truly say I didn't have a single issue on this run. My right psoas was irksome and noticeable, but never limited me, and I really got to work the last 20 min. Had some fun exploring some new Cascade Trail sections, with some nice descent and gain. Really good work, really pleased. A bit wiped this afternoon, but well worth it.
